The Preview Page in Evoto Mobile is where you view and edit your photos. This guide covers all the features available on the Preview Page to help you navigate your editing workflow efficiently.
Preview Zoom
Zoom in and out of your photos for detailed editing or an overview of your work. Use pinch gestures on your screen to:
- Zoom In: Pinch outward to magnify details
- Zoom Out: Pinch inward to see the full image
- Double-tap: Quickly toggle between fit-to-screen and 100% zoom
Star Rating
Organize your photos by assigning star ratings (1-5 stars). This helps you quickly identify your best shots and prioritize which images to edit first.
How to Rate Photos
- Open the photo in Preview
- Tap the star icon in the toolbar
- Select your desired star rating (1-5 stars)
- Tap again to clear the rating if needed
Using Star Ratings for Filtering
After rating your photos, you can use the Sort & Filter feature to:
- Show only photos with specific star ratings
- Quickly find your top-rated images
- Separate reviewed photos from unreviewed ones
Undo & Redo
Made a mistake or want to try a different approach? Evoto Mobile 2.0 features enhanced Undo and Redo functionality:
- Undo: Step backward through your editing changes
- Redo: Restore changes you have undone
- Multi-step: Undo/redo multiple consecutive adjustments
This allows you to experiment freely without worrying about losing your work.
History
View your complete editing history for each photo. The History panel in Evoto Mobile 2.0 shows all adjustments you have made, allowing you to:
- Review your editing steps chronologically
- Jump back to any previous state with one tap
- Compare different editing stages
- Understand which adjustments were applied
Sync
Apply your edits from one photo to multiple images with the Sync feature. This is perfect for batch editing photos taken in similar conditions. To sync edits:
- Edit your reference photo
- Select the photos you want to apply the same edits to
- Use Sync to copy your adjustments
Sort & Filter
Evoto Mobile 2.0 introduces powerful Sort & Filter capabilities to help you manage large photo collections efficiently.
Filter Options
- By Star Rating: Show photos with specific ratings (1-5 stars)
- By Edit Status: Filter edited vs. unedited photos
- By Export Status: Show exported or unexported images
Sort Options
- By Name: Alphabetical ordering (A-Z or Z-A)
- By Date: Sort by capture or import date
- By Rating: Highest to lowest or vice versa
Photo Selection & Organization
Efficiently manage multiple photos with these selection tools:
- Order: Arrange photos in your preferred sequence
- Select: Tap to select individual photos
- Multi-select: Select multiple photos at once for batch operations
Import Images
Add more photos to your project directly from the Preview Page. Tap the import option to bring in additional images from your device’s photo library or files without leaving your current editing session.
Before & After Comparison
Compare your edited photo with the original to see your progress. Evoto Mobile offers two ways to view before and after:
- Before & After Button: Tap to toggle between edited and original views
- Long-press: Press and hold anywhere on the screen to temporarily show the original image
This feature helps you evaluate your edits and ensure you achieve the desired results.

Encounter an issue or have a suggestion while editing? Use Submit Feedback directly from the Preview Page to report problems or share your ideas with the Evoto team.
