Cloud Storage Purchase FAQ

Does this FAQ apply to both Evoto and Evoto Instant?

Yes. The core cloud storage rules are shared across Evoto and Evoto Instant. The main difference is how storage consumption is calculated and what project contents count toward storage usage.

What happens when my cloud storage expires?

All plans include a defined validity period. Upon expiration, your cloud storage will become inactive. Please use your storage prior to expiration.

Storage Expiry Guidelines: The validity period for each subscription plan is calculated independently. Purchasing multiple plans will not refresh or extend the expiration date of your existing plans.

Example: Suppose User A purchases a plan granting 100GB of storage, valid until December 1, 2025. If User A subsequently repurchases this plan or buys an additional storage plan, increasing their total storage to 200GB, the original 100GB allocation will still expire on December 1, 2025 as initially scheduled.

Will my cloud projects be deleted immediately after storage expires?

No. Cloud projects saved in expired storage will be retained for 30 days. After 30 days, these cloud projects will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

If another plan expires during an active 30-day retention period, the timer will not restart. All cloud projects in expired storage will be deleted simultaneously at the end of the initial 30 days.

Grace Period Example: Suppose User A purchases Plan A (100GB storage, expires December 1, 2025) and Plan B (50GB storage, expires December 15, 2025). On December 2, 2025, Plan A expires, initiating the 30-day file retention grace period. Then, on December 16, 2025, Plan B also expires. Because a grace period was already active, the deadline is not extended. Consequently, the files utilizing the combined 150GB of expired storage will be permanently deleted together on January 1, 2026.

How are cloud projects deleted after the 30-day grace period?

Cloud projects will be removed chronologically based on their last modified date, starting with the oldest, until the total size of the deleted projects equals the storage capacity of the expired plan.

What is the difference between Evoto and Evoto Instant storage usage?

Product How storage consumption is calculated
Evoto Storage consumption is calculated based on the actual size of the cloud projects uploaded to your cloud space.
Evoto Instant All project contents you create will consume your storage space. This includes Original Images, Live Previews, and any Edited Versions. Supporting materials such as banners, watermarks, and photographer cards are also included in your storage usage.

For Evoto Instant, we display the storage breakdown for each content category within the project for full transparency. You can manage or clear these contents in Storage Management to free up storage space.

Can storage purchased for Evoto Instant be used in other Evoto products?

Yes. Evoto Instant and other Evoto products share the same credits and storage system. As long as you log in with the same account, storage purchased through the Evoto Instant pricing page can be used in other Evoto products.

What determines plan validity?

Plan validity is subject to the duration of your purchased plan.

Can I get a refund for cloud storage purchases?

No. As this is a paid software licensing service, all sales are non-refundable. Please purchase responsibly.
