Evoto Video Pricing FAQ
This page explains how vCredits work in Evoto Video, including charging rules, frame-rate coefficients, feature rates, free credits, and billing behavior during export.
vCredits Basics
What currency does Evoto Video use?
Evoto Video uses vCredits. vCredits are separate from the standard Evoto Credits used by other Evoto products and are not interchangeable.
How does pricing work in Evoto Video?
Evoto Video uses a usage-based billing model. The export cost depends on which AI features are applied, how long the processed clip is, and the frame rate of the footage.
Charging Rules
How are vCredits calculated?
Total vCredits = Feature Rate × Duration (seconds) × Frame Rate Coefficient
What counts toward billing?
Only clips or segments with effects applied are charged. Unedited footage included in the timeline does not consume vCredits when exported.
What are the current feature rates?
- Portrait Retouching = 1
- AI Color Match = 0, free for a limited time
How does frame rate affect pricing?
- 30 fps or below → coefficient = 1
- Above 30 fps → coefficient = 2
Free Credits & Expiration
Do new users get any free credits?
Yes. New users receive 60 vCredits after first login.
How much free usage do 60 vCredits provide?
That is equivalent to exporting about 1 minute of video at 30 fps or below.
Do free credits expire?
Yes. Free credits expire 30 days after activation.
Is there any other free usage?
- Export without AI features → Free
- AI Color Match → Free for a limited time
- New users receive 60 vCredits → Free starter allowance
Export Billing Behavior
What happens if my export fails? Will I still be charged?
No. If an export fails, you will not be charged. Any unused vCredits are automatically refunded to your account.
If I retry an export, will I be charged again?
Yes. Retrying an export runs the rendering process again, and vCredits are charged again based on the applied effects and settings.
Are unedited clips charged when exported together with edited clips?
No. Only the clips or segments with applied effects count toward billing.
