Tether shooting setup – OM System Cameras

Checking for Computer Setting

For Windows System	For MacOS Operation System
For Windows System, please make sure on camera is already on correct connection mode.	For MacOS System, because Olympus Camera do not have stable connection with Mac computer. In order to connect the tether shooting with more stable connection, we suggest you to connect to the camera to an extension USB C Hub, and then connect to computer, to provide a more stable connection.
Download the Driver Software for Olympus to connect from the website: https://zadig.akeo.ie/
After download, go to Options -> List All Devices -> find the corresponding Camera model
Click on Replace Driver, until driver installation is finished.
Go to Device Manager, under Portable Devices, and check whether your camera has been connected to your computer.

Checking for OM System Camera Setting

Step 1. Go to Setting -> Disp (D4) -> USB Mode, and select “USB / Tether connection” .

Step 2. Go to Setting -> Utility -> Backlit LCD, and make sure it is under “Hold”

Step 3. Go to Setting -> Utility -> Sleep, and make sure it is under “Off”

Step 4. Go to Setting -> Utility -> Auto Power Off, and make sure it is under “Off”

Step 5. Go to Setting -> Utility -> Quick Sleep Mode, and make sure it is under “Off”
