Product & Workflow
Should I set up my projects on the Web Portal or the Mobile App?
We recommend setting up all your project details—such as workflows, gallery branding, sharing methods, and payment options—via the Web Portal before your shoot. The Web Portal offers the most comprehensive settings.
The Mobile App is best used as a companion tool during the shoot for quick sharing and making minor adjustments on-site.
Please note: While the Web Portal has the most complete settings overall, AI Culling can currently only be enabled through the Mobile App.
Are my Evoto Instant and Evoto accounts synced? How are credits deducted if I move photos between the two?
Currently, Evoto Instant and Evoto do not support direct account synchronization. If you would like to continue editing a photo from Instant in the Evoto desktop app, you will need to download the images from Instant and import them into Evoto manually.
Regarding credits: If you export an original, unedited photo from Instant and import it into Evoto, it will not consume any additional Instant credits. However, if the photo has already been edited using AI in Instant, exporting and importing that edited version will consume Instant credits accordingly.
Credits, Storage & Pricing
Do I get free credits when I sign up for Evoto Instant?
Currently, we do not offer complimentary credits for new sign-ups. However, new Evoto Instant users do receive 6GB of free cloud storage upon registration (please note that 5GB of this storage is a limited-time offer that expires after 6 months).
Can I use my existing Evoto credits and storage in Evoto Instant?
Yes, you can. Evoto Instant and other Evoto products share the same credits and storage system. As long as you log in with your usual account credentials, you can use your Evoto credits and storage seamlessly in Instant.
Please note: Free users on Instant may not have access to certain subscriber-exclusive features. For more details, please refer to the Instant Pricing Page.
Can I use credits and storage purchased through the Evoto Instant pricing page in other Evoto products?
Yes. Any subscriptions or Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) credits and storage purchased via the Evoto Instant pricing page are fully usable in other Evoto products.
Do unused credits and storage roll over to the next billing cycle on a subscription plan?
No, credits and storage included in an Instant subscription plan do not roll over. For monthly subscriptions, your credits will reset each month. For annual subscriptions, credits reset at the start of each billing year. Your storage space will remain available as long as your subscription is active.
How long are Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) credits and storage valid?
If you purchase a Pay-As-You-Go package through the Evoto Instant pricing page, the credits are valid for 2 years, and the storage is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Subscription Management
How do I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan?
Evoto Instant follows the same subscription management rules as the main Evoto platform:

Upgrading: When you upgrade your plan, the new plan takes effect immediately upon payment. All credits and storage from your previous plan will remain valid until their original expiration date. Your new billing cycle will start from the payment date of your upgraded plan.

Downgrading: If your current subscription is still active, your downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If your current subscription has already expired, the downgrade will take effect immediately upon payment.
(Please note: Rules for changing plans may be updated in the future. Evoto will keep users informed of any changes and reserves the right of final interpretation.)
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, please follow these steps:

Log in to your Evoto account.

Navigate to My Account → Billing & Usage.

Click Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
Note: Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Once the cycle ends, any remaining credits will expire and can no longer be used. We do not offer refunds for early cancellations.
