The Export Settings panel in Evoto Video lets you choose how your final video is exported. It supports both full-timeline export and selected-segment export, while also showing key output information such as file name, destination, format, resolution, frame rate, codec, and bitrate.
Export Modes
Evoto Video provides two export modes:
- Regular Export: Exports the entire timeline as one video file.
- Segment Export: Lets you select specific clips or segments for export.
Use Regular Export when you want the whole edited timeline in a single output file. Use Segment Export when you only need selected parts of the timeline.
Regular Export
In Regular Export, Evoto Video exports the full timeline and displays the main output settings directly in the export window.
Available Fields
- File Name: Edit the output file name before export.
- Export to: Choose the destination folder for the exported file.
- Duration: Shows the total duration of the exported timeline.
- Format: Choose the export container format. Current options include MP4 and MOV.
- Resolution: Displays the export resolution.
- Frame Rate: Displays the frame rate of the output video.
- Encode: Displays the video codec used for export, such as H264.
- Bitrate: Displays the target export bitrate.
Segment Export
In Segment Export, you can export selected clips instead of the whole timeline.
Segment Selection
- Select All: Quickly select every available segment.
- Selected / Total: Shows how many segments are selected and how many are available in total.
- Clip Preview: Each selected segment is shown as a thumbnail with its duration.
After choosing the segments, click Export Settings to review the final output information.
Segment Export Settings
The settings page for segment export includes:
- Export Count: The number of selected segments to be exported.
- Export to: The destination folder.
- Format: The selected output format, such as MP4 or MOV.
- Resolution: The output resolution.
- Frame Rate: The output frame rate.
- Encode: The export codec.
- Bitrate: The export bitrate.
vCredit Usage
Evoto Video charges vCredits only for exported clips that have effects applied. If no edits are detected in the exported video or segment, your export vCredits will not be used.
Note: If the export dialog shows No edits detected in the video. Your export vCredits will not be used., the output can be exported without consuming vCredits.
Start Export
After confirming the file name, destination, mode, and output settings, click Export to begin rendering the final video.
If you only need part of the timeline, Segment Export can help reduce unnecessary output and keep the export workflow more focused.
