Evoto Video Plugins

Evoto Video provides retouching plugins for DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro. The plugin is designed for retouching one clip at a time inside your existing editing workflow.

Before You Start

  • The plugin is not a standalone product. Install the Evoto Video desktop app and sign in before using it.
  • Install, update, and manage the plugin from the desktop app on both Windows and macOS.
  • The first installation must be started manually. After that, the plugin updates automatically when you open a newer version of the desktop app.
  • On macOS, the first installation may ask for manual authorization and your computer password.

Open the Plugin

  • DaVinci Resolve: Go to Workspace > Workflow Integrations > Evoto Video.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro: Go to Window > UXP Plugins > Evoto Video.

Retouch a Clip

Select a clip in your editing software and open it in the plugin. Adjust the portrait-retouching controls and preview a single frame. The plugin does not include color adjustment. For more effects, color tools, presets, or batch processing, use the Evoto Video desktop app.

Send the processed result back to the editing software. Depending on the source, you can replace the original video, add the result to a new track, or add it to the media pool. In Premiere Pro, the result can only be added to a new track or imported into the project panel.

Current Limitations

  • Supported versions: DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 or later and Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6.
  • Only one video can be processed at a time.
  • While a clip is being retouched in the plugin, projects cannot be edited in the Evoto Video desktop app at the same time.
  • Plugin exports use the same repeated-export billing rules as the desktop app. Plugin and desktop exports are counted together.
