This guide explains Evoto’s approach to content analysis, the techniques we use, how your privacy is protected, and how you can manage your preferences.
What is content analysis?
Evoto may analyze your content to provide product features and to continuously improve and develop our products and services. Content includes, but is not limited to, photos and associated data.
- Evoto performs content analysis only on processed content (content that passes through our platform). We do not analyze content stored locally on your device.
- If you access Evoto via a personal account and prefer that Evoto does not analyze your content for product development and improvement, you may turn off content analysis at any time from your Evoto account settings.
What techniques does Evoto use to analyze content?
Evoto primarily uses machine learning to analyze your content. Machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence in which a computing system uses algorithms to analyze and learn from data without direct human intervention, drawing inferences from patterns and making predictions. The system continuously learns and improves over time as it receives more data.
We leverage machine learning to:
- Develop and improve our products and services, enabling us to deliver innovative and cutting-edge features.
- Provide specific product features and customize our products and services. Machine learning-enabled features can help you become more efficient and creative. For example, in Evoto, machine learning can be used to automatically clean a photo’s background for you.
How does Evoto analyze your content?
Evoto may analyze the content that you process on our platform.
- When we analyze your content for product improvement and development purposes, we first aggregate it with other content. We then use this aggregated, anonymized content to train our algorithms and enhance our products and services.
- If you do not want Evoto to use your content for these purposes, you can opt-out of content analysis at any time.
Manual Review in Limited Circumstances
In limited circumstances, we may manually review your content for product improvement and development purposes. This typically occurs if:
- You participate in a prerelease, beta, or early access program.
- You submit such content for specific feedback.
- You otherwise explicitly permit Evoto to manually review your content.
Our manual review process includes strict safeguards to help protect your privacy. If you submit non-public content for manual review, we will perform this review with personnel subject to strict confidentiality requirements and privacy training.
How will Evoto protect my privacy?
Evoto takes your privacy seriously and maintains robust protections during content analysis for product improvement and development.
- None of your content is included in our products or services unless you make it publicly available (e.g., through contributions to the Evoto Facebook Group).
- The insights obtained through content analysis will not be used to recreate your content or lead to identifying any personal information about you.
Can I turn off content analysis for product improvement and development?
Yes, you can turn off content analysis at any time directly from your Evoto account settings. Turning off content analysis does not affect your ability to use any features within Evoto.
When does content analysis opt-out not apply?
Please note that opting out of content analysis does not apply to all instances of content use:
- Feedback Channels: If you provide content through feedback mechanisms or other feedback-providing channels (e.g., bug reports, feature requests), that content may still be used for development purposes. If you do not want your content used in this way, you should avoid submitting it through these channels.
- Feature-Specific Analysis: If you use specific features that inherently rely on content analysis techniques (e.g., AI Background Removal), your content may still be analyzed when you use those features. This analysis is performed to ensure the feature functions correctly and to help improve that specific feature’s performance for all users.
How can your content be deleted?
We value your right to your content. If you would like to delete all the content you have submitted to us (i.e., processed on our platform), please contact us via email at contactus@evoto.ai. We will delete all of your content as soon as we receive your request.
