The Preview Page in Evoto Mobile is where you view and edit your photos. This guide covers all the features available on the Preview Page to help you navigate your editing workflow efficiently.
Preview Zoom
Zoom in and out of your photos for detailed editing or an overview of your work. Use pinch gestures on your screen to:
- Zoom In: Pinch outward to magnify details
- Zoom Out: Pinch inward to see the full image
- Double-tap: Quickly toggle between fit-to-screen and 100% zoom
Star Rating
Organize your photos by assigning star ratings (1-5 stars). This helps you quickly identify your best shots and prioritize which images to edit first. To rate a photo:
- Open the photo in Preview
- Tap the rating area
- Select your desired star rating
Undo & Redo
Made a mistake or want to try a different approach? Use Undo and Redo to step backward or forward through your editing changes. This allows you to experiment freely without worrying about losing your work.
History
View your complete editing history for each photo. The History panel shows all adjustments you have made, allowing you to:
- Review your editing steps
- Jump back to any previous state
- Compare different editing stages
Sync
Apply your edits from one photo to multiple images with the Sync feature. This is perfect for batch editing photos taken in similar conditions. To sync edits:
- Edit your reference photo
- Select the photos you want to apply the same edits to
- Use Sync to copy your adjustments
Photo Selection & Organization
Efficiently manage multiple photos with these selection tools:
- Order: Arrange photos in your preferred sequence
- Select: Tap to select individual photos
- Multi-select: Select multiple photos at once for batch operations
Import Images
Add more photos to your project directly from the Preview Page. Tap the import option to bring in additional images from your device’s photo library or files without leaving your current editing session.
Before & After Comparison
Compare your edited photo with the original to see your progress. Evoto Mobile offers two ways to view before and after:
- Before & After Button: Tap to toggle between edited and original views
- Long-press: Press and hold anywhere on the screen to temporarily show the original image
This feature helps you evaluate your edits and ensure you achieve the desired results.

Encounter an issue or have a suggestion while editing? Use Submit Feedback directly from the Preview Page to report problems or share your ideas with the Evoto team. Your feedback helps us improve the app for everyone.
Tips for Efficient Editing
- Use star ratings to mark your favorite shots before editing
- Edit one photo completely, then use Sync to apply settings to similar photos
