The Reshape Tool in Evoto Mobile provides 8 professional distortion tools for precise image manipulation. During post-processing, photographers often need to make local distortion adjustments to portraits or objects, such as fine-tuning facial contours, adjusting clothing edges, or refining body curves. The Reshape Tool allows you to make controlled adjustments to specific areas of your image with professional-grade precision.
8 Distortion Tools
Reshape
Pushes pixels along your finger drag direction. This is the primary tool for making adjustments to facial contours, body shapes, and clothing edges. Use it to push and pull areas of the image to achieve the desired shape.
Default Parameters: Size: 30 (default selected tool)
Smooth
Smooths distortion edges and reduces abruptness. After making reshape adjustments, use this tool to blend the edited areas with surrounding pixels for a more natural transition. It helps eliminate harsh edges created by other distortion tools.
Default Parameters: Size: 25
Twirl
Rotates pixels within the brush area. Creates a swirling effect that can add motion or artistic distortion to your image. The rotation direction and intensity can be adjusted using the rotation slider.
Default Parameters: Size: 25, Rotation: -100 to +100
Swell
Expands or contracts pixels within the brush area. Use positive values to expand (bloat) areas, making them appear larger or fuller. Use negative values to contract (pucker) areas, creating a pinched or tightened effect.
Default Parameters: Size: 40, Scale: -100 to +100
Push Left
Pushes pixels to the left as you drag. This tool is useful for creating lateral displacement effects or shifting elements horizontally. Supports direction switching to push pixels in the opposite direction when needed.
Default Parameters: Size: 40, supports reverse direction switch
Restore
Restores distorted areas to their original state. Paint over areas where you want to undo distortion effects and bring back the original pixels. This is useful for correcting mistakes or selectively removing distortion from specific areas.
Default Parameters: Size: 40
Freeze Mask
Freezes areas to protect them from being affected by distortion tools. Paint a mask over parts of the image you want to remain unchanged. Frozen areas display a red semi-transparent overlay and will not be affected by any other distortion tools.
Default Parameters: Size: 25
Thaw Mask
Removes previously applied freeze masks, allowing those areas to be edited again. Use this tool to selectively unfreeze areas that you want to apply distortion effects to.
Default Parameters: Size: 25
