The Backdrop Changer feature in Evoto Mobile lets you replace or refine a background directly on your phone. It is designed for fast mobile editing while still offering enough control for more polished results.

What Backdrop Changer Does

• Apply a preset background in one tap
• Control how much of the original scene is preserved
• Refine the blend between subject and background
• Adjust transparency, size, and position of the new background
• Reduce green-screen color spill when needed

Preserved Area

Use Preserved Area to decide how much of the original image remains in front of the new background.

• Subject: Keeps only the main subject.
• Subject and Related Objects: Keeps the subject and closely related objects.
• All Objects Including Non-Connected Objects: Preserves more objects from the original scene when needed.

Adjustment Controls

• Edge Adjustment: Refines the blend around the subject.
• Opacity: Controls background transparency.
• Size: Rescales the new background.
• Vertical / Horizontal: Moves the background position.

Remove Spill

Remove Spill helps eliminate unwanted green or colored reflections left on the subject after extraction and replacement. This is especially useful when the original image was shot against a green or blue screen.
